Centre Supervisor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellen Mok, RECE<\/strong>. Ellen has been with the centre since 2002, she has worked in all programs including off site supervisor at the Banting and Best School Age Satellite Program that runs out of Prince of Peace C.S. She was in the Assistant Supervisor from July 2018 – June 2020. From July 2020 until present, she has been in the role of the Centre’s Supervisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistant Supervisor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manouri Gunasekaran, RECE<\/strong>. Manouri has been with the centre since 2010. She started at the centre as worked as support and supply staff. She attended School while working to obtain her Early Childhood Educator Diploma, which she completed in 2017. She has been an RECE since 2017 and worked with the Kindergarten age group and the Preschool age group. Manouri has become the Assistant Supervisor since July 2020. She continues to attend and participate in all workshops offered. Manouri is also part of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Childhood Educators <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atiya Husain, RECE<\/strong>. Atiya has been with the centre since 1998. She has worked in all the programs, however her love and patience for the younger group have kept her in the Preschool Rooms for the past 29+ years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magda El-Behery, RECE<\/strong>. Magda has been with the centre since 2000. She has worked in all programs at Banting and Best Child Care and is presently the off-site Supervisor at Banting and Best School Age Satellite Program that is located at Prince of Peace C.S . She is also the RECE in our School Age Before and After School Program at Prince of Peace C.S. She continues to participate in workshops offered to update her skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jolentha Kwok, RECE<\/strong>. Jolentha has been with the centre since 2010. She started off worked with all age groups as a supply staff and is currently working full time in the Kindergarten Program at Banting and Best School Age Satellite Program at Prince of Peace C.S.. Jolentha is part of the Joint Health and Safety Committee and our centre’s Health and Safety Reprehensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milly Lin, RECE<\/strong>. Milly has been employed with the centre since 2010. She did her placement from Centennial college at the centre and later joined our team. She is has worked with all the age groups at the centre. She is is currently in the Junior Preschool Program room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bindu Chandra Bose, RECE.<\/strong> Bindu has worked with the centre since 2015, first as volunteer then gradually working up to gaining full time employment at the centre as an ECA then as an RECE. She is currently working with the York Region School Board and Toronto District School Board as a Supply staff. Bindu also supplies at our centre when needed and is one of our Summer Educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lily Li, RECE.<\/strong> Lily has joined our team since June 2019. She is currently the RECE for the School Age Program in room 102. She continues to attend workshops or webinars to refresh or gain knowledge to incorporate into her program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bing Liu, RECE. <\/strong> Bing has joined our team since October 2019. She is currently in the Kindergarten Program. She continues to attend workshops or webinars to refresh or gain knowledge to incorporate into her program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sajiththa Sasikaran, RECE. <\/strong>Sajiththa has joined our team since October 2023. She is the RECE in the School Age porgram in room 104. She continues to attend workshops or webinars to refresh or gain knowledge to incorporate into her program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joanne Li, RECE<\/strong>. Joanne has joined our centre since May 2023 as a Supply and Summer Educators . She was attending school while working supply and has completed her RECE course and has join our centre as a permanent Educator. She officially got her RECE title as of August 2024. She is currently in the Junior Preschool Program room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy Wang, RECE. <\/strong>Amy has joined our centre since June 2024. She is currently the RECE in the Senior Preschool Room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atifa Raza, RECE.<\/strong> Atifa has joined our centre as a Supply and Summer Educators since July 2025. She has many years of experience in different roles in the child care field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistant and Support Staff<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Najma Ali Raza, ECA<\/strong>. Najma has been with the centre since 2007. She started off in the centre as a Supply Educator and is now currently an assistant in our Kindergarten Program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tharani Kousikan, ECA<\/strong>. Tharani has been with the centre since March 2019 .  She is the Assistant in the School-Age Program in room 102.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raina Halacheva, ECA<\/strong>. Raina has been with the centre since July 2019.  She started at the centre assisting in the School Age Program in room 104. She is currently the assistant in the Senior Preschool Program as of September 2022. In May 2024 Raina enrolled in the Apprenticeship at Seneca College and working at becoming a RECE. We are looking forward to her achieving her goal of becoming an RECE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firdous Ajaz, ECA<\/strong>. Firdous has been with the centre since 2015 as a Supply Educator and now is working as an assistant in the School Age 104 program room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamida Mohammed, ECA<\/strong>. Hamida joined our centre in October 2019. She is a support staff in the centre. She is currently at the Banting and Best Child Care location and will be covering where needed in the rooms. She was in the assistant position at the Banting and Best School Age Satellite Program from Sept 2020 – December 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hong Chen, ECA.<\/strong> Hong had joined our centre in July 2022 as a Summer and Supply Educator. She currently works as an EA with the TCDSB. She supplies during the school year if available and works during the summer months at the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judy Chiu, ECA.<\/strong> Judy had joined our centre in July 2022 as a Summer and Supply Educator. She is currently working at TDSB and YRDSB as Supply Elementary School Teacher. She supplies with our centre during P.A. days if she is available and also during the Summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gowri Baskaran, ECA. <\/strong>Gowri has started at the centre in March 2022 as a Supply and Summer Educator. She also works at TDSB as an EA in the mornings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marya Velita Javier-Dean, ECA.<\/strong> Marya started at our centre in November 2024. She is currently a Supply and Summer Educator, while she is completing her studies in university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kalbinur Devran, ECA. <\/strong> Kalbinur stared at our centre in July 2025. She currently is a Supply and Summer Educator with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helen Nathan, ECA.<\/strong> Helen has rejoined our centre after many years away due to family obligations. She started back at our centre in July 2025. She currently is a Supply and Summer Educator with us. During the school year she also works as a TCDSB lunch room supervisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
