Hello families. We can’t wait to have everyone back. As it is understandable that some families may choose not to come back to the centre at the moment due to Covid-19 concerns, we are looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
Those who are returning will need to get in touch with Ellen and let her know their return date for their child if they are starting September 15th or after that date. Parents will need to relay this to Ellen by Tuesday, September 8th, 2020. As we will need to order snacks and hot lunches( Preschool Program only) and our Caters need 1 week notice of changes.
Children in the Before and Afterschool Programs (Kindergarten and School-Age) at Banting and Best P.S. will have staggered start dates. If your child does not start on September 15th, you will need to plan an alternate plan for care, as we do not have access to the classrooms in the hours that the school runs classes. Our operation hours for the before and afterschool program will be 7:00 am – 8:40 am and 3:10 pm – 5:30 pm. Please let Ellen know as soon as you are aware of your child’s official start date at Banting and Best P.S.
Children in the Satellite Before and After School Program at Prince of Peace C.S. Parents are to let Ellen know by September 8th, 2020 if their child is starting on September 14th or after that date. We are still awaiting notification about the staggered starting dates for the grades. Please do let Ellen know if you are aware of the date your Child will be starting at Prince of Peace C.S. Please plan just incase if we can not provided whole day care for your child at the Satellite site on the days of September 15, 16, 17 and 18th, if we do not have access to the rooms during the school hours.
